Why?
The Directory of Community, Industry and Tourism Australia has been developed to assist the Australian public, and people intending to visit Australia, in finding out up-to-date and useful information on all localities in the country. It is our aim to provide our visitors with general information, business listings, accommodation specific information, history, entertainment (restaurants, pubs, clubs etc) and links relevant to all localities in Australia.
How?
Obviously a directory of this size is not going to be full of information overnight. This is why we need your help. We encourage our visitors to submit information about places that they have visited in Australia, or about the place where they live. This will help to maintain this free resource for years to come.
When?
Launched in October 2006, it is expected that the Directory of Community, Industry and Tourism Australia will experience steady growth into the future. We predict that by 2010, we will have quality information specific to about 40% of all localities in Australia.
Where?
